About Our Members...
WILD ROSE, once a
country singer was
approached by "El
Conquistador" to start
singing Rock & Roll and
the Blues... and that is
where this story begins.
She found her calling,
with a voice as sultry as
Janis Joplin, Cher,
and Stevie Nicks, putting
her own sweetness in
the mix she found her
niche. Knowing in her
heart that female artist
such as these not only
helped define Rock & Roll
as we know it, but
pushed it into a whole
new realm. It only takes
once for you to
experience her voice and
stage performance to get
lost on Easy Street!
DARREL...most
affectionately known as
"El Conquistador", has a
background with bands
such as Fruitless Effort,
Zipper, The Nebraska
Band, the Home Grown
Band and Larry and the
Lightning Bolts. He has a
style all his own and is a
very talented musician
and vocalist. Big D has
been inspired by
musicians such as Jimmy
Page, Mark Farner, Richie
Blackmore and Carlos
Santana, just to name a
few. He lives for playing
his guitar and keeping
Rock & Roll alive.
SPENCE... our talented
bass player and vocalist
is from Aurora, NE. He
has a background with
bands such as The Moon
Dogs, Out of the Blue,
Larry and the Lightning
Bolts, and most recently
THREE. He brings many
years of onstage
experience to Easy
Street.
Mark...our drummer joins
Easy Street from Aurora
NE. Mark sat in on drums
with various bands over
the years, but did not
join a group until he and
"Spence" formed the
band THREE. He is a Rock
& Roll drummer and loves
playing for a crowd.
Our special thanks to members past. Without the ideas and
talent they brought to the band, Easy Street would not be
what it is today. Mike Thomson, now in Utah. David White
now in Texas. Ben Stueve, now in Texas (we miss you
"Meatloaf"). Tom Kleinjohn of Hastings, Jon Dickerson of
Hastings, Tony "Nails" Hedrick of Gibbon, and JR Norman of
Kearney (Good luck on the road JR!). Thanks Guys!
